Holiday Inn Express

Holiday Inn Express & Suites 

Architect designed and coordinated all aspects of the non-prototype hotel and development including full development of the 4 story wood frame 100 room hotel in Dallas including swimming pool, fitness facility, meeting room facilities Services provided included full architectural, interior design coordination, mechanical and electrical engineering, structural engineering, government coordination, bidding coordination, and construction contract administration. 

Teche Medical Clinic
                   Teche Medical Clinic

A 10,000 SF1-story concrete frame and masonry exterior building, The clinic included exam rooms, dentistry, offices, information technology and administration facilities.  Architect and Senior Project Manager, Richard King, provided complete interior and exterior design of this medical clinic facility including architectural, site development mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, bidding and construction support. 

DFW Airport Fire Station #6

DFW Airport Fire Station #6

Project Manager & Lead Architect for the Program Validation and the Project Manager for the Schematic design through Construction support services of DFW’s new 3 bay 18,500 SF fire station located in DFW’s International Commerce Park. The project included stakeholder interviews, room requirement programming, equipment requirements, site evaluation, building design mass studies and report preparation. The fire station is a Silver LEED project, and a Gold Fire Station National Award winner.

As a prime architect, Richard King provided design services on this church renovation project. The scope of work included offices, meeting rooms and a main Sanctuary at first floor, and a sanctuary balcony at second floor, with a total seating for 800 persons. Built in 1960s and 1970s, the existing building is a brick and metal siding building.  The existing building is in downtown Plano and is considered a Historic building by the City of Plano.
